Rick Rose

Personal Injury / Product Liability

Rick Rose is a trial attorney who brings a well-rounded perspective to personal injury and products liability cases. After spending years defending corporations in complex litigation, he made the move to the plaintiff’s side to help individuals who have been injured due to negligence or unsafe products. His experience working for large companies gives him valuable insight into how these cases are defended, which helps him build stronger cases for his clients.

Before joining Mortensen & Milne, Rick practiced at respected law firms in Salt Lake City, where he worked on a range of large, complex civil litigation matters. He also spent a year clerking for Judge Dale A. Kimball in the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, gaining firsthand experience into the judicial decision-making process.

Rick earned his law degree from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he graduated with highest honors, served as an Articles Editor for the Law Review, and was the head of the pro bono Medical-Legal clinic. Prior to law school, Rick attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and played lacrosse.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, cooking, cycling, music, video games, and golf.
